FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Allocent and how investor demand infrastructure works.

Allocent is the AI command center for investor relations. It de-anonymizes your IR website traffic, parses your shareholder lists, scores every investor by intent, activates them via email, and — with the Advertising Add-on — finds and converts investors who haven't found you yet.
Traditional IR firms focus on outreach, relationships, and visibility. Allocent focuses on who's already paying attention — and who should be. We identify, score, and activate investor demand at a scale and speed no IR firm can match, then hand you a ranked pipeline to act on.
Public companies — primarily small-cap and micro-cap — with an active IR function and a budget to build measurable investor demand. Typically a company with an IR Director or VP of IR who's tired of not knowing who's reading their materials or why meetings aren't converting.
The IR Platform ($60K/yr) works on your existing audience — it de-anonymizes your IR website traffic, parses your NOBO and Transfer Agent lists, scores every identified investor, activates them via a white-labeled email sequence, and distributes your narrative via SEO and AEO. The Advertising Add-on ($40K/yr) goes outside your existing audience — it finds investors actively researching your sector across financial media, builds and runs targeted ad campaigns on Meta, Google, and LinkedIn, and optimises them autonomously. Most clients run both.
Yes. The IR Platform stands on its own — many clients start there to get full visibility into their existing investor audience before expanding reach with advertising. The Advertising Add-on can be added at any point. If bundled together from the start, the combined cost is $80K/yr (saving $20K vs. buying separately).
Allocent Score™ is a continuously updated ranking for every investor in your pipeline. It evaluates three dimensions: source presence (how many IR touchpoints has this investor shown up across?), reachability (do we have a confirmed HEM to reach them?), and recency (how fresh is their engagement?). The output is a single prioritised list — Priority, High Intent, Active, Monitoring — so you know exactly who to call next.
No. Reveal™ uses identity resolution, not cookies. A lightweight script on your IR site matches visitor signals to a proprietary identity graph — resolving anonymous sessions to named individuals with name, role, firm, and page-level behavior. 87% of IR traffic is identifiable. Both retail (HNW, self-directed) and institutional (fund analysts, portfolio managers, family offices) visitors are covered.
A NOBO (Non-Objecting Beneficial Owner) list is a record of shareholders who've consented to having their identity shared with the issuer. It's obtained via your Transfer Agent or a service like vStock. Shareholder Intelligence parses your NOBO and Transfer Agent PDFs — extracting shareholder names, share counts, brokerage, city, and state in under 10 seconds — then maps quarter-over-quarter changes, identifies new buyers and exits, and shows you exactly which brokerages hold your stock.
Yes. Uploaded documents are processed in an isolated environment, not stored in raw form, and never shared outside your account. Only parsed structured data (names, counts, broker, location) is retained and used to power your Investor Scoring and email activation.
LinkedIn, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), and Google (Display and Search). No DSP. Campaigns run directly on each platform — no markup, no intermediary. Allocent handles all creative production, audience building, campaign management, and autonomous optimisation.
Allocent handles the full creative process — but it's collaborative, not fully automatic. We research your company and sector, develop narrative concepts and campaign ideas, and work with you to agree on creative direction before anything goes live. Once concepts are approved, AI generates the assets — UGC-style video, display creative, social formats — across Meta, Google, and LinkedIn. Client-produced content (press releases, event materials, executive posts) can also be distributed to targeted investor audiences. Underperforming creative is paused and budget reallocated autonomously; new creative rounds follow the same collaborative approval process.
You do. Ad spend is paid directly to Meta, Google, and LinkedIn through your own accounts — Allocent never touches the money and never marks up media. The minimum budget is $500/mo. There's no upper cap; Allocent's AI scales spend into what's converting and pulls back from what isn't.
Yes. Email sequences run through a Sales Engagement Platform (SEP) integrated under your brand — your domain, your sending name, your signature. To recipients, it looks like email from your IR team. Allocent manages enrollment, sequencing, and optimisation in the background. Investors identified through Reveal™ or Shareholder Intelligence are automatically enrolled based on their score tier.
Allocent is a standalone system — it doesn't require a CRM. The scored investor list and engagement data can be exported for use in your existing tools. If you're running a CRM or IR platform alongside Allocent, speak with us at onboarding and we'll confirm what's supported.
Allocent's tools are designed for broad-based investor communication, which is consistent with Reg FD requirements. We do not facilitate selective disclosure — all content distributed through Allocent (ads, email, SEO/AEO) is intended for general investor audiences. That said, your IR team and legal counsel remain responsible for ensuring all public communications meet applicable disclosure standards. We recommend reviewing your IR communications policy with counsel when onboarding.
Named investors in your pipeline. Repeat engagement tracked. A growing, owned investor audience that you can measure and act on — not vanity traffic metrics. Over time: more qualified meetings, a clearer picture of who owns your stock and who's considering it, and an IR operation that compounds rather than resets each quarter.
Week 1–2: investor identification starts — named contacts appearing from your existing IR traffic. Week 3–4: engagement patterns emerge and email sequences begin activating identified investors. Month 2 and beyond: demand starts compounding as the scoring model accumulates signal and campaigns optimise.
Two products on annual contracts. The IR Platform is $60,000/yr — website de-anonymization, shareholder intelligence, investor scoring, email activation, and SEO/AEO distribution. The Advertising Add-on is $40,000/yr — keyword intent signals, AI-generated campaigns across LinkedIn/Meta/Google, and autonomous optimisation. Bundle both for $80,000/yr (saves $20,000). A one-time $10,000 setup fee applies to all engagements. Ad spend is separate — paid directly to platforms, minimum $500/mo.
12 months. Investor demand compounds over time — the scoring model gets smarter, the audience grows, and campaigns optimise. A shorter engagement doesn't give the system enough runway to perform. The $10,000 setup fee covers strategy, narrative development, and initial configuration and is due at signing.
No. Allocent builds and measures investor demand — we can't control market conditions, share price, or an investor's ultimate decision to buy. What we can guarantee is visibility: you'll know who's paying attention, who's engaging, and who's gone cold.
Allocent operates on 12-month contracts. If circumstances change, contact us to discuss your options. Early termination terms are outlined in your agreement.
Yes — SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) distribution is included in the IR Platform. Allocent optimises your IR narrative for both traditional search engines and AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews) so investors researching your sector find your story first.
